The Fourth Annual Xplore Engineering Camp has been scheduled for June 23 and 24 and is now open for registration.
Xplore Engineering Camp is designed for alumni and the children in their life entering the 4th through 7th grade.
Through a series of workshops and tours, participants get hands-on experience in a variety of engineering disciplines.
CEE will host a workshop called “How Much will Your Bridge Hold?” This workshop invites participants to design and build their own bridges. Students will learn how engineers create safe, strong bridges, and see how their own design stacks up in the bridge strength competition.
In addition to the 18 options for workshops, participants can choose between 7 tours. Tour options include “M City: A Test City for Autonomous Vehicles,” and “The Big House & Crisler Center.”
The camp offers 1 and 2-day options. There is also the option to include a 2-night stay in North Campus' Baits Houses.
