Sara Rimer receives Proquest Distinguished Dissertation Award

Sara Rimer (PhD '16) has been selected to receive a ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award for her work, Controlling Hazardous Releases While Protecting Passengers in Civil Infrastructure Systems.

This award recognizes the most exceptional scholarly work produced by doctoral students at the University of Michigan who completed their dissertations in 2016. The Michigan Society of Fellows serves as the primary selection committee and ProQuest Information Services sponsors the award program.

Sara received her PhD in December 2016. Professor Nikolaos D. Katopodes was her advisor.
