Robert Billington

Speaker: Alumnus Robert Billington, a civil engineer, has more than three decades of experience in the oil and gas industries in the United States, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has worked as a project/construction manager designing and building on-shore and off-shore structures. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from U-M. For the past five years he has worked on the development of the Block Island Wind Farm project, which is a 30-megawatt offshore wind farm to be located approximately three miles southeast of Block Island, Rhode Island, consisting of 5 turbines.
